What I found, what I fixed, and the number it moved.
Some as a hire, some for clients, and one as the founder. The same job underneath each one: finding where a business loses money or time, and building the systems that stop it.
Where a business loses money after the sale
Refunds were high and nobody could say why. I brought data from eight systems into one place and analysed it. The causes were gaps in onboarding, missed sales calls and reminders not sent on time, and the fixes went in around them.
Every lead, enriched before the call
The sales team was calling leads off blank records. I rebuilt the front of the funnel around enrichment, so every lead reaches a rep already carrying its company context, routed by account size, with calls logging themselves.
Revenue from organic search
I did the ICP research, mapped the content to it and worked on the content. The result: £10,000 a month in revenue from organic search.
A cost base that couldn't survive the next round
Every deployment cost too much for the gross margin to be fundable, just as the business was about to expand into three countries. As interim COO I set up the operations team and rebuilt the deployment process end to end.
The one where the P&L was mine
A B2B talent marketplace I co-founded and bootstrapped. I owned the P&L, managed a team of seven, built the matching systems the business ran on, and sold it to IDX, a private equity firm, in 2023.
